Box2Art Software for DMB gamers

Geeky Bobcat Design proudly presents a Diamond Mind Baseball Game utility that will enhance your gaming experience. Box2Art takes DMB boxscores generated by the game (including older versions 9 & 10 files) and converts them instantly into a newspaper-style article summarizing the details of the game. The stadium, game date and abbreviated line score are displayed with the article on the main screen. The article is also added to the clipboard for easy pasting into an e-mail/word processor or can be edited from the main screen.

Box2Art includes the winning pitcher, losing pitcher and reliever earning the save. You’ll know who the winners’ best hitter was based on an algorithm similar to Bill James’ Runs Created formula. A second deserving hitter on the winning team may be added to the article as well. If a batter on the losing team has a great game, he’ll be recognized. Later in the season, the article will include the season totals for key stats like saves and homeruns (newspaper boxscores only), show an improved batting average or ERA and comment on a player’s good season. Rain delays, threatening skies and high winds are also reported. Our Diamond Mind Baseball Game utility will tell you about high numbers of men left on base, doubleplays and errors. It’ll display complete games, shutouts and no-hitters for pitchers and hitters who hit for the cycle.

Box2Art remembers the last folder of boxscores searched and you can specify one team as the default home team or view all boxscores in a folder. A four or five game series can be reported literally in a matter of seconds. In addition, this Diamond Mind Baseball Game utility allows you to save the article as a text file in the same folder with a “.txt” extension.
